Maureen Templeman, PhD

Maureen Templeman is an Assistant Professor in the Gerontology Program at Missouri State University. She holds a PhD in Aging Sciences, and a Master’s in curriculum and instruction. She teaches courses on lifespan developmental psychology, families in later life, aging in art and media, and social aspects of aging. Her research focuses on stress and coping, work-family issues related to informal caregiving, aging among marginalized adults, and end of life issues. She is the faculty advisor for the Beta Iota Omicron chapter of SPO at Missouri State University.
