We Celebrate Impact in Gerontology

Sigma Phi Omega honors chapters and members advancing aging education, research, and service. 2025 submissions are due March 5; recipients notified March 14 and announced at the SGS conference in April.

Service Project Award

Recognizes an outstanding chapter-led service project that benefits older adults. $200 prize to the chapter.

President’s Student Paper Award

Honors an exceptional undergraduate or graduate paper in gerontology. $200 prize to the recipient.

Media (Video) Award

Spotlights a short media/video showcasing a chapter’s work and impact. $200 prize to the chapter.
