Founded in 1980, Sigma Phi Omega (SPO) recognizes excellence in the study of aging and the outstanding service of those who work with and for older adults. We link educators, practitioners, administrators, and students so scholarship and community impact reinforce each other. Our work happens first through local chapters, with guidance and resources from the national office.
